SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Western Nebraska native and Mitchell High School graduate Nate Lashley’s bid for back to back Rocket Mortgage Classic titles came to an end on Friday. Despite a second round score of 69, Lashley finished the two rounds at four under which was one shot from making the cut.

After a first round score of 71, Lashley entered the final hole of round two at five under needing to make par to seal a trip to the weekend. However he would make bogey to finish with a 69 and missing the cut.

Chris Kirk and Webb Simpson lead the way after two rounds at 12 under. Third round action is set for Saturday and final round action set for Sunday.
