SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) -

After a cold front moved through the panhandle last week bringing blistery temperatures, snowfall and gusty winds the Adam’s Family Pumpkin Patch in Scottsbluff is pleased to announce that their 6 acres have been spared.

“We lost some corn to the colder temps, and the leaves are hanging low but the pumpkins are doing great!” says Cheryl Adams, “This is the best our crops have been in years.”

The Adam’s Family Pumpkin Patch has been providing your pumpkin needs for 25 years and to celebrate, they have put together their largest corn maze!

Every year since 1995 the Adams have hosted a corn maze, bounce pad, hay slide, tractor pulls and bonfires. This year they have taken things a step further with 2 more acres of pumpkins to choose from and now a large maze showing their 25th anniversary - all thanks to GPS tracking.

We spoke to Cheryl Adams who says,"We have some special things planned for this year so just keep watching us on Facebook and that way you know what is coming up and the fall festival is coming up the 3rd and the 4th (of October) and we have lots of vendors again and so it should be fun!

Cheryl also reminds you to bring your own flashlight for their annual flashlight corn maze, which is set for October 10th, 24th and 31st from 7 in the evening until 10pm. Bring your own flashlight or light of choice(required). Get free popcorn with your admission. They will have warm drinks and snacks available for purchase and the first 100 people on each night will get a free glow stick.

Last year over 500 people attended and this year they may see less than expected, however, the Adam’s wanted to give back to the community as they have done for years.

Opening weekend begins Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10am where you can find all your pumpkin and family-fun events.

You won’t want to miss out on this creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky-fun time.
