Scottsbluff Police respond to disruptive patient call

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (PRESS RELEASE) - The Scottsbluff Police Department responded to a request by Regional West Medical Center staff at approximately 11:15 am, on Thursday October 15th. The request was to assist with a patient whom was being disruptive and threatening to staff.

Officers arrived and contacted the male. As an investigation ensued the male allegedly became combative and assaulted several officers. The male was arrested and transported to the Scotts Bluff County Jail. The male was identified as Kade Patrick Weber, 23 of Hemingford, NE. The Department states Webber was charged with;

1 count Resisting Arrest

1 count Trespassing

3 counts felonious assault on police officer

1 count Disorderly Conduct

Several officers were treated for minor injuries at the hospital and this matter remains under investigation. A report will be forwarded to the Scotts Bluff County Attorney’s Office for review when the investigation is completed. Gering Police Department and RWMC Security Staff assisted the department.
