SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - A two-car collision at a Scottsbluff intersection at 9:15 Friday morning left one driver injured and the second escaping the scene, according to the Scottsbluff Police Department.

Torrington resident Sheila Flores, 30, was driving a Dogde Journey eastbound on East 20th St., when Gering resident Jack Warren, 25, heading South on 1st Ave. in a Toyota, pulled away from the intersection stop sign and hit Flores on her driver’s side.

Warren then got out of his vehicle and ran South --fleeing the scene, according to Scottsbluff Police. Flores reported that she was injured but declined transport by ambulance. The Toyota driver was found shortly after and cited for failure to yield the right of way, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and driving under suspension.
