Gering’s Peyton Seiler heading to North Iowa Area CC

State medalist to become a student athlete and run cross country and track in college.

GERING, Neb. (KNEP) -

One of Gering High School’s top cross country and long distance track runners taking his talents to the college level.

Bulldog senior Peyton Seiler has signed to become a student athlete at North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa. He will also run cross country and track for the Trojans.

This past season Seiler shinned in cross country helping Gering earn a top ten finish in the Boys Class B State Cross Country Meet. He would finish third overall in the meet earning a state individual medal.

Seiler will join a North Iowa Area program coming off a National Junior College Athletic Association championship in cross country.
