SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - We’re almost one month into spring and the weather is gorgeous. We took to the streets of downtown Scottsbluff to ask residents what their plans are for spring and travel..

“We just got news that my mother that lives in Omaha has got her vaccinations,” said John Vidlak Scottsbluff resident. “It’s been over a year since we seen her and we’re looking forward to getting out to the eastern part of the state and seeing the rest of the family out there.”

“We went to school in Chadron Nebraska so it’s like an hour and a half away from here,” said Jorge Flores Laramie resident. “We’re going to visit there a couple of times visit my sister here in Scottsbluff. We’re also thinking of going to Honduras for the summer if it allows. We’re getting our vaccines soon so maybe we can travel then and just things like that.”

“My mom is going to be 89 in June and lives outside of Crawford,” said Stephen Viessman Scottsbluff resident. “We haven’t been able to see her in a long time so as she can’t really travel that much. We want to get up there and visit with her and reconnect.”
