A fugitive chase ends in arrest in Scotts Bluff County
Several law enforcement agencies involved including the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The teamwork of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies arrest a fugitive on the run in Scotts Bluff County.
U.S. Marshals District of Wyoming (USMDW) said 26-year-old alleged suspect Brandon Jessiman is put in handcuffs yesterday. He is facing several charges including first degree sexual assault, kidnapping, and strangulation of a household member. Back on March 8 2021 Saratoga Police Department put forward a warrant for the arrest of Jessiman. U.S. Marshals Service Wyoming Fugitive Task Force in Cheyenne assists in the investigation. They develop information Jessiman flees to Wyoming through Colorado ending up in Western Nebraska.
USMDW said the Wyoming and Colorado Fugitive Task force, Saratoga Police Department, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office, and the Western Intelligence Narcotics Task Force teamed up in the joint investigation. They locate Jessiman and arrest him after a brief foot pursuit. He is in custody at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Carbon County, Wyoming.
USMDW said other charges include two counts of aggravated assault and battery and three counts of domestic battery from incidents going back between Feb. 27 and March 5, 2021.
