Big Red Husker Blitz Tour make stops to several local towns
Gering, Chadron, and Alliance welcomed Husker coaches and staff during events.
GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - The Big Red Blitz Tour was held on Wednesday, as Husker coaches and athletic staff members went across the state talking Nebraska athletics.
The event broken into ten University of Nebraska athletic groups made stops in twenty cities and towns.
The tour made visits to several local communities on the day.
Gering and Alliance hosted tour stops that featured Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moss, Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach Armon Gates and Head Wrestling Coach Mark Manning.
Nebraska Radio Softball Analyst Mattie Fowler was the emcee for the event.
Meanwhile Chadron hosted tour stops that featured Assistant Football Coach Tony Tuioti, Associate Head Volleyball Coach Tyler Hildebrand, and Director of Performance Nutrition Dave Ellis.
Huskers Radio Network personality Jessica Coody was the emcee for the event.
The Big Red Blitz was a way for the university to say thanks to fans across the state of Nebraska.
