NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The cooldown we’ve been waiting for is here for Monday. With lots of sunshine, we will have a NW wind, keeping us cooler than we have been, with a lot less humidity. The cool air will not last long, as we are back into the 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be a lot of sunshine over the next 3 days as that warmer air works in.

Our next chance on moisture comes of Thursday night through Friday. A low will move to our north and its cold front will give us showers/t-storms. They will break the heat Friday into Saturday with highs falling back into the lower 80s.
