SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The fair is full of rides, food, vendors, and of course livestock.

4-h clubs are coming together to show their livestock at the Scotts Bluff County Fair. All kind of animals can we seen this year like pigs, sheep, cows, lambs, and much more. A lot goes into getting these animals ready to be shown at a big event like the county fair. Addison Weinreis, an 11 year old from Scottsbluff, tells us one component that goes into showing her sheep.

She says, “I halter break him, there is many ways to do it. I just put a halter on him and of course he will just run around and sometimes he would get loose, but we would always catch him again. It is fun and stressful at the same time”

Scotts Bluff County Fair has a variety of 4-H livestock programs. Information available on their website at https://4h.unl.edu/livestock
