Three Arrested in a Scottsbluff Shooting Saturday Night

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scottsbluff Police were called to the 1000 Block of West Overland just before 8:00 p.m. regarding shots being fired, according to a news release. Officers arrived at the scene of the disturbance finding numerous people in the area which then three subjects fled, followed by shots being fired. One of the three subjects was shot in the left shoulder and privately transported to Regional West Medical Center. The subjects were identified as three males ages 16, 17, and 18 years old of Scottsbluff. Each male was arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, and Terroristic Threats. A charge of Possession of a Handgun by a Minor was added to the juveniles and all three are being held at the Scotts Bluff County Jail. The Nebraska State Patrol, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office, Gering Police Department, Scottsbluff Fire Department and Valley Ambulance Service assisted the department throughout this investigation.
