Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming pick up wins in men’s basketball

TORRINGTON, Wyo. (KNEP) - The Eastern Wyoming College men’s basketball team moves to 5-4 on the season thanks to their 126-42 win over FE Warren Air Force Base. Lancers came out of the gates strong and never looked back scoring 61 points in the first half alone. Eastern Wyoming returns to action Friday when they are at the Williston State Tournament.

The Western Nebraska Community College men’s basketball team moves to 6-2 on the season as they defeat Laramie County Community College 86-79.

Cougars trailed at halftime 38-35, but scored 51 points in the second half to earn the come from behind win. Rodney Sawyer led the way with 21 points in the contest. Them Koang chipped in with 19 points and Biko Johnson 15 points.

WNCC men off until December 3rd, when they travel to Gillette for a three day tournament.
