Governor Pete Ricketts makes stop in Western Nebraska

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts went over his plans for this upcoming year and future plans moving forward.

He spoke about his final year in office and what plans he has after that.

He also spoke about the $500 Million dollar project to create a canal from Colorado.

Over the next two years the State of Nebraska will provide over two billion dollars in tax relief with the possibility of doing even more.

He went over the new mask mandates in Omaha and how he disagrees with that plan.
