Vietnam War Veterans honored with a flagline

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Vietnam War Veterans stopped by Scottsbluff on May 12th enroute to Washington to see their War Memorials.

The public was encouraged to come to the Elks Lodge and stand a flag line in their honor.

The flag line started at 11:15AM and the Veterans arrive at 12PM.

They will have 150 flags available to pay respect to these Heroes as well as any family members who may have served in the Military.

The Patriot Guard has been invited to escort a group of Vietnam Veterans from Chadron via Alliance to Scottsbluff.

Five vans will be carrying the veterans as they are escorted to town.

This was a free event for the public.
