Red All Stars pick up wins during Panhandle Prep Basketball Games
Local athletes shine one final time on the high school level out in Gering.
GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - The annual Panhandle Prep All Star Basketball Games saw several graduating seniors put on a show one final time on the high school level.
The ladies game saw the Red-All Stars earn an 89-85 win over the Blue All-Stars. Torrington graduate Reece Halley was named game most valuable player.
The men’s game also went the way of the Red All-Stars as they picked up a 100-85 win over the Blue All-Stars. Chadron graduate Justus Alcorn was named game most valuable player.
Scottsbluff graduate Tyler Harre not only was on the winning red team, but he claimed the slam dunk contest and boys three point contest titles.
While Hyannis graduate Ashlynn Henderson won the girls three point contest title.
