Terrytown signs Pride Proclamation

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - On, June 9th Terrytown Mayor Chris Perales signed a Pride Proclamation.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots which is the birth of the Pride celebration as we know it.
In a joint adventure with Panhandle Equality the Mayor of Terrytown have officially signed a Pride Proclamation at the regular City Council meeting.
The Pride Proclamation goes as followed: In Terrytown we celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ community’s right to live their lives out loud – during Pride month and every other month. As we celebrate Pride across this City.
