SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scottsbluff police were dispatched to McDonalds in regards to a male in a gray Dodge Durango, intoxicated in the drive thru and verbally assaulting employees inside the building.

Once officers arrived on scene the driver, 22-year-old Jesus Ganette, was asleep in his vehicle.

When Garnette stepped out of the vehicle he had a hard time standing up on his feet, and had a hard time speaking to police.

Due to the level of intoxication he could not perform a Standardized Field Sobriety Test.

Garnette was transported to the hospital for medical clearance.

Court documents stated that when he arrived at the hospital he was refusing to sign a waiver for a blood and breath sample.

After medical clearance was obtained he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Disorderly Conduct, and Refusal to Submit to a Breath and Blood Test.
