WNAC is set to host two unique art shows
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - West Nebraska Arts Center is hosting two new art shows.
The first of two shows is called President’s Show: Icons which is located in the main gallery and theme is chosen by May Hunt the WNAC Board President.
Icons is a person or thing regarded as worthy of great respect; this may be interpreted as a profound effect on your life.
The second show is called Elder Art: Creative Aging Through the Arts Showcase.
This exhibition is presented from students who are 60+ years old. This art show will be presented in the Bronson Gallery.
Both art shows are scheduled for June 30th and July 31st from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Appetizers and drinks will be served, and the exhibition is free and open to the public.
Mary Hunt WNAC Board President says “Icons was my first chance to choose a theme for the Presidents show and something I’ve been wanting to have as a theme for a show for sometime now. I thought it would be real interesting because people interpret Icons in so many different ways and I think that’s evident with the artwork we got.”
