Night glow returns to Western Nebraska Community College

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Nightglow at Western Nebraska Community College returns August 10th from 6:00pm-9:00pm as part of the annual Old West Balloon Fest.

The balloons are just north of the main campus in Scottsbluff.

Visitors may enjoy food trucks and other vendors while Nightglow is going on.

Event passes are required for all mass ascensions and night glow events including the second night glow at Five Rocks.

Event passes are $20 for the entire week of events.

Hunter Kosman committee chairman of Old West Balloon Fest says “Were going to have about 20 balloons there, you will kind of be around them as they glow. If you never been to a nightglow it is really amazing once they start burning that fire in the balloon all of a sudden it glow like a candle. It is a really fun event for everyone to come out get close to the balloons. Balloons don’t take of but they really glow and put on a great show.”
