High pressure will quickly crest over us for mid-week; it will give us plenty of sunshine and as it moves east, it will set up a southerly wind that will warm us nicely. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid-30s, and we rise into the upper 40s by Thursday. Friday brings mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with highs near 50 west and in the upper 50s east. A low will track to our north for Sunday, dragging a cold front across the region; even though the wind will flip to the north, we will remain dry. We’ll be slightly cooler buy mainly sunny on Saturday with highs near 40 west and near 50 east.

Highs will fall from near 50 Sunday into the mid-30s Monday. Another system is right behind that, working in for Sunday and Monday. It gives us about a 20%-30% chance of snow showers from west to east across the viewing area, and cooler air. By Tuesday, high presure is back in charge giving us more sunshine, but the cooler-than-average air is sticking around with highs in the mid- to upper 30s.
