MINATARE, Neb. (KNEP) - Residents across the panhandle and country came together to help give a veteran a new landscape.

On Saturday Homes For Our Troops and comminutes in the panhandle came together to help Army Staff Sergeant Timothy Kramer get a new-looking landscape for his future house in Minatare.

SSG Kramer was injured during a tour in Iraq in 2006, and this current house has amenities that make living with his injuries more manageable. His story about the injury and life after the injury is available here.

SSG Kramer will receive his keys to the house in an event sometime in the future.
