Gering City Administrator newest LARM Board of Directors member

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Pat Heath Longterm employee for the City of Gering and Gering City Administrator is the newest League Association of Risk Management Board of Director member.

Heath worked for the City of Gering for 31 years first as a water/wastewater Superintendent from 1991-2004.

Then Heath worked as the Director of Public Works from 2004-2020.

Finally in 2021 he became the City Administrator for the City of Gering. LARM is a Nebraska based risk management pool providing risk management coverages and services.

LARM is governed by 15 elected and appointed government officals choseb by the LARM membership. The other board members are listed at: https://larmpool.org/who-we-are/board.html.

Pat Heath Gering City Administrator says “First of all I am not leaving my post at the City of Gering, I plan on staying as long as they will keep me on the board. I have been appointed to the League Association of Risk Management Board. The League is or L.A.R.M. is they provide insurance to municipalities, villages, and other government agencies in Nebraska. They usually provide cost effective rates for cities, and it’s going to be exciting to be on this board. Someone from Gering has always been on this board since its inception, so I plan to serve this area of the state on the L.A.R.M. board.”
