Gering High School Names New Head Boys Basketball Coach
Gering names Bulldog graduate Trey Winkler to the position.

GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - Gering High School names a new head boys basketball coach. Gering graduate and current Crete High School Assistant basketball coach Trey Winkler has been named the Bulldogs new head boys coach.
Winkler was a Gering standout on the basketball court taking his talents to the college level. After his basketball career Winkler has been coaching including this past season being an assistant coach for former Scottsbluff head coach Tony Siske and Crete High School.
Trey replaces father Rick who was boys interim head coach after Kyle Cotton stepped down to begin the season.
