Scottsbluff soccer teams open the season with games against Cheyenne Central
Both Bearcat teams play hard but come up short to Cheyenne foes.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scottsbluff boys and girls soccer teams in action on Friday taking on Cheyenne Central. Scottsbluff boys on the road squaring off against Central. In the end it was Cheyenne Central picking up a 6-0 win on the day.
The Scottsbluff girls opening their season at home taking on Central at Landers Complex. Scottsbluff getting goals from Ella Foote and Mariah Russel but it was not enough as the Indians earning the 5-2 win.
The contest saw both teams go back and forth in the first half as the game pretty much even. Central turning up the momentum in the second half scoring four times to seal the win.
