Six local businesses fail Alcohol Compliance Checks

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Six local businesses are found Noncompliant for Alcohol Compliance checks in the month of March.
Scottsbluff Police Department, Gering Police Department, and Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office participated in the series of alcohol compliance checks in Scotts Bluff County.
Six of the 63 businesses selling alcohol were found selling to minors, that’s a 10% noncompliance percentage: the highest since March 2004.
One business out of the six that failed has prior violations on record with the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.
