Gering soccer teams go the distance with Douglas
Both Bulldog teams come up short by two goals in final regular season games.

GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - The Gering soccer teams wrapping up the regular season on Thursday with games against Douglas. The Gering boys at home taking on Douglas. In the end Bearcats picking up a 3-1 win over Gering on the boys side.
Meanwhile the the Gering ladies on the road taking on Douglas Thursday. Lady Bearcats earning a 2-0 win over Gering.
Bulldogs now turn their attention to the postseason and sub-districts. Gering girls will take on Scottsbluff in round one of the B-8 Sub District Tournament. The Gering boys will face Lexington in round one of the B-8 Sub District Tournament.
