Scottsbluff boys soccer team play to the end but fall to Schuyler in district finals

SCHUYLER, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scottsbluff boys soccer team saw their strong season come to an end on Saturday in the B5 District Finals against Schuyler 3-1.

Bearcats took the Warriors to the very end as the game was tied at 1 into the second half of the contest. Schuyler would push across two goals in the second half to seal the win and trip to state.

Scottsbluff’s season comes to an end at 9-7 overall, while Braden Anderson ends his season as the Bearcats single season scoring record holder.

District B-3 Finals: South Sioux City 1 Crete 0 (South Sioux City earns trip to state)

District B-4 Finals: Lexington 4 Waverly 1 (Lexington earns trip to state)

District B-6 Finals: Scotus Central Catholic 2 Hastings 0 (Scotus Central Catholic earns trip to state)

District B-7 Finals: Elkhorn North 2 Ralston 0 (Elkhorn North earns trip to state)

District B-8 Finals: Conestoga 3 Norris 2 (Conestoga earns trip to state)
