BRIDGEPORT, Neb. (KNEP) - Ruthie Loomis-Goltl has been a fixture not only in the Bridgeport athletic program but in the community.

Ruthie played basketball and track her entire high school career in addition playing volleyball for part of her career.

She leaves Bridgeport High School with nine school records, but basketball is the sport she showcased all of her talents.

In addition to grabbing over 800 rebounds and over 400 blocks her career, Ruthie’s 2,075 points places her in the top 15 all time for career scoring.

Her record playing for the Bulldogs 94-12, finishing with 2nd place, 3rd place, and 4th place finishes at the Nebraska State Girls Basketball Tournament in Lincoln.

Ruthie will continue her basketball career on the college level playing for the University of Colorado.
