Theatre West set to open for summer season

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Theatre West will be starting its summer performing season on June 1.

Theatre West will be offering five different shows for people to enjoy over the summer season. The season will feature performances of The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Odd Couple, The female version, Guys and Dolls and Disney’s Moana Jr.

Here is a list of each show and what times they will be performed:

The Marvelous Wonderettes:

  • June 1-3, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 10 at 2 p.m.

The Odd Couple will have each version alternating:

  • June 22-24, 29, 30 and July 1 at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 24 and July 1 at 2 p.m.

Guys and Dolls in Concert:

  • July 13-15, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • July 15 at 2 p.m.

Disney’s Moana Jr.:

  • July 22 and 23 at 2 p.m.
  • July 23 at 5 p.m.

“So for us it becomes an opportunity for us to come together and put on the highest quality theatre that we can and the most artistic theatre we can right here in the panhandle,” Theatre West Artistic Director Patrick Newell said.

Tickets can be purchased either online here or at the box office before each show. Tickets will cost $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and $10 for students. Tickets for Disney’s Moana Jr will cost $8 for adults and $5 for students.
