Fab Five Student Athlete Payton Burda (Scottsbluff)

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scottsbluff High School Class of 2023 saw a lot of wins over the past four years especially on the girls side. Payton Burda made an impact on three of those teams at SHS.

Burda was a key performer in volleyball helping the Bearcats reach a district final this past season for the first time in several years.

She also was a state medalist in track helping Scottsbluff receive a lot of points through her high school career.

Basketball is the sport Payton shinned the brightest, helping Scottsbluff earn multiple trips to the state tournament in the process finishing her career with over one thousand points and three school records.

Payton will continue her basketball career on the college level becoming a student athlete at Black Hills State in South Dakota.
