Scotts Bluff National Monument announces Summer hours

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Summer is fast approaching and Scotts Bluff National Monument is extending their hours of operations beginning May 28th.
Summer Visitor Center hours will be from 8:00am-6:00pm, Summit Road will be open to motorized vehicles from 9:00am-5:30pm, as all vehicles must be down and off the road by 6:00pm.
Park grounds including trails are open from sunrise to sunset.
Scotts Bluff National Monument Park Rangers remind visitors that walking or biking on Summit Road during operating hours is prohibited due to safety reasons.
