Many enjoying Lake Minatare for Memorial Day Weekend

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Lake Minatare is a great spot for families to enjoy the sun and everything else that the Nebraska State Park has to offer.

With Summer coming up locals and out of towners traveled to Lake Minatare for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Barbecues could be seen, along with many enjoying the warm weather and the lake itself.

Water vehicles, campers and so much more were on full display for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Matt Lemley, community member fishing at Lake Minatare says, “We had a good day so far, enjoying the nice weather, day off of work, and came out to do a little fishing. "

Miles Lemley, community member fishing at Lake Minatare says, “Same thing, the weekend started a little rough with the thunderstorms moving in and everything. The family wanted to come out, and we enjoyed as much as we could, we did a little fishing this morning, caught a few fish this morning so even better.”
