United Way of Western Nebraska presents prizes to duck draw winners

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The United Way of Western Nebraska presented its top two prizes to the duck draw winners last weekend.

On Saturday, the 26th annual United Way of Western Nebraska Duck Draw took place with 50 different winners being announced. The top two, Scott Philips and Connie Hubbard, were presented with their prizes.

Phillips was the winner of the 2024 Chevrolet Trax, and Hubbard was the winner of the Honda Pioneer 520 side by side.

“I’m like no I didn’t believe, I made her find someone from United Way and get them on the phone to confirm it and then I had to watch the video before I actually really believed it and quite honestly it still hasn’t quite sunk in,” Phillips said.

“I was totally shocked when she called and told me that I had won the side by side and I was just ecstatic cause I never win anything really too much anyway but it was a good cause just to buy the ducks and I won or not so its just a bonus.” Hubbard said.
