Local students paint over graffiti wall in Scottsbluff

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - ReConnect Scottsbluff Leo Club students look to make our city look better by painting a recent graffiti wall in Scottsbluff.

A building near Railway Street in Scottsbluff was recently tagged with graffiti and students from ReConnect Leo Club wanted to change just that!

At around 9:30am students gathered to paint the wall and restore some pride to the city by painting the building and making the community look more appealing.

Brandon Garza, with ReConnect Scottsbluff Leo Club, says, “All the graffiti on it, how it was all torn down, it was bad, and we want it to look good and make the town look better.”

Erika Azuna, with ReConnect Scottsbluff Leo Club, says, “We just painted it, I think they are going to do a mural on it, so we are just doing the base for now.”
