Sidney senior set to continue track and field career at University of Nebraska
Karsyn Leeling signs to become a student athlete and compete at the University of Nebraska in track and field.
SIDNEY, Neb. (KNEP) - One of the area’s top track and field athletes set to continue her career on the college level. Sidney’s Karsyn Leeling is signing to become a student athlete and compete at the University of Nebraska in track and field.
The multi-sport athlete committed earlier in her career to Doane University but after a stellar junior season in track and field the University of Nebraska changed her path.
Leeling has been a three sport athlete at Sidney playing volleyball, basketball, and track. In track she is decorated jumper for the Red Raiders earning several state medals in her career. Including winning state gold her junior season in the Class B Triple Jump and the Class B High Jump.
In addition to being a part of the track and field program, Leeling says she will major in Business Administration with the goal of becoming a real estate agent.
