Scottsbluff Police arrest man for 2nd degree murder

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scottsbluff Police arrested a man on Sunday following an investigation into the shooting death of another man.

On Saturday, Scottsbluff Police officers were alerted by Regional West Medical Center medical staff of a gun shot victim that they were currently treating. According to police, the victim, Wilson George Coleman III, had been shot in the chest and later died from his injuries.

The next day, Anibal Domingo Jr. was arrested and lodged into jail for second degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

The Scottsbluff Police Department said the shooting happened near 15th Avenue and East 9th Street. Police said Domingo and Coleman knew each other and there is no threat to the public.
