The youth Hastings Crush softball teams held a "Pink Out" game in support of those battling breast cancer. The game meant a bit more to Hastings mothers, Tamisha Rose-Osgood and Tammy Craig who both have breast cancer.

Wisbech, England-native Jade Ovendale will be joining Hastings College as the new Head Women's Soccer Coach Athletic Director BJ Pumroy announced on Tuesday. In a statement released Wednesday night, the Expedition League announced it will hold a 52-game season starting on Friday, June 26 and the regular season will end on Wednesday, August 19. Then the winner of the Lewis Division and Clark Division will play in the Expedition League Championship Series, a best-of-three series from August 21-23.
Hastings College football has a new man in charge of its offense. John Grinde takes over for long-time coordinator, Clint Head. Grinde played wide receiver at the University of Central Missouri before starting his coaching career.
Chantae McMillan competed for Nebraska from 2007 to 2011. In her time with the Big Red she was a four-time Big 12 champion in Track & Field. She also earned a bid to the 2012 London Olympics where she competed in the heptathlon.
Former Western Nebraska Community College volleyball player Adia Sherbeyn is taking her talents to the four year level. Sherbeyn will become a student athlete at Lyon College in Arkansas and play volleyball.
The NSAA Representative Assembly met Thursday and voted on the motion to sanction bowling as a high school varsity sport for the 2020-21 school year. High school girls wrestling is considered an emerging sport.
