Sunshine and warm stays through the weekend
Storm chances, cooler air return next week
Updated: 3 hours ago
We are used to sunny and warm weather, and through the weekend, that trend will stick around. Average highs are falling into the low- to mid-70s as we start October, but our actual highs will stay well into the 80s until the start of next week. A dual-high pressure setup will be in charge of our weather, which is giving us sunny skies. Plus, a southerly wind, that at times can become quite breezy, is keeping us warm. Thursday and Friday we will have complete sunshine, with highs in the upper 80s east and the mid-80s west. Saturday we will have breezy conditions in Central NE, otherwise sunny to mostly sunny skies will be the story with highs in the upper 80s to near 90.
